This is the piano version of another song on our CD. This is one of my favorite songs only because it’s a story that happened in my life. I told Rob about it and he was able to take my thoughts and feelings and make them into a song, I thought it was pretty amazing. It was always cool when people would ask about the girl, I never told.
lyrics
Tangled in the words I want to say
Just a voice without a sound
Something in the way you make me feel
I would say but I don’t know how
We’re so close but so far
Are the words you said that night
I love you exchanged in the dark
Then you walked out of my life
January five I’m alive
It’s a day I remember most
January five I’m alive
With every word you spoke
You’re so far away
I’ll search and I’ll wait just for you
If you’ll give me just one sign
One reason to prove just to you
That I know how to make you mine
January five I’m alive
It’s a day I remember most
January five I’m alive
With every word you spoke
